The Young Israel of Sunnyside is an Orthodox Jewish shul founded in the 1920s in the beautiful Sunnyside neighborhood of Queens, New York, twenty minutes from Midtown Manhattan to the west. The shul is experiencing a renewal under the leadership of Rabbi Yonah Levant, who has founded a night kollel, and is building community infrastructure, including an Eruv. Midtown Manhattan is only twenty minutes away via
public transportation (five subway stops using the No. 7 line/E
